This continuous rope can be used to involve audience participation in illustrating the Gospel message. A volunteer can be chosen whose hand is tied with the rope illustrating the bondage to sin. Then a quick release of the rope takes place showing how the work of Christ frees us from the bondage of sin. Use of volunteers from the audience is optional, this object lesson also works well without a volunteer. Other applications can be made as you master the mechanics of this object lesson.
